... the term we used when we help, support, lend a hand to our country men. From the root word "bayan" meaning country.

This is an old traditional, cultural thing, way we do in the Phils. when we need to move location or places (of course it has to be close by). Men will help carry the house to the next location/place. Mostly done in the provinces and villages ...

I am trying to capture our old ways thru my paintings for some of them, like this one, is fading, and just sad to know someday some of our cultural traditions will be gone forever :(

I thought this is perfect for the occassion, "Labour Day"...

My first Impressionist style... and i like it :dance:
